The Nevada Physical Therapy Board protects and promotes the health and safety of Nevadans by pursuing the highest quality of physical therapy practice through education, communication, licensing, legislation, regulation, and enforcement.
Who We License
The Nevada Physical Therapy Board licenses physical therapists and physical therapist's assistants. Any person wishing to work in Nevada must obtain a Nevada License.
The Nevada Physical Therapy Board operates under the authority of Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 640 and Nevada Administrative Code Chapter 640. These laws establish the Board’s role in licensing physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, setting practice standards, and protecting the public through regulation of the profession.
