NPTE Preparation Resources

ADA Accommodations
Accomodations for the NPTE must be requested both through FSBPT and the Nevada Physical Therapy Board. When you select your exam date ensure you select Accomodations. Please fill and submit the following form to ptapplication@govmail.state.nv.us
Exam Candidate Education Requirements
The application requires record of educational background.
This requirement can be satisfied with an Official Transcript with Conferred Degree or an FCCPT Educational Equivalency Report.
Official Transcript with Conferred Degree from a CAPTE program
- Hardcopy Transcript This can be mailed directly from the institution to the Nevada Board of Physical Therapy office, mailed or delivered by the applicant still sealed in the official envelope provided from the institution. An official transcript cannot be scanned and uploaded by the applicant, nor opened and then mailed or delivered. The applicant opening the official transcript envelope will render the transcript unofficial.
- Electronic Transcript Transcripts can be accepted electronically. Please enquire with the education institution which electronic transcript system is needed. Your official transcript will be uploaded into your application by board staff once it is received.
FCCPT Educational Equivalency Report
- If you are Foreign Educated (educated outside of the United States) , you will need to submit your FCCPT Evaluation Report. You can start your evaluation on fccpt.org
